Overview
HIVE is an Add-on for the VANTED system. VANTED is a graph editor extended for the visualisation and analysis of biological experimental data in context of pathways/networks. HIVE stands forHandy Integration and Visualisation of multimodal Experimental Data
and extends the functionality of VANTED by adding the handling of volumes and images, together with a workspace approach, allowing one to integrate data of different biological data domains.
- handling of omics data
- metabolomics
- proteomicss
- transcriptomicss
- genomics
- handling of networks
- gene regulatory networks
- biological pathways
- network maps and diagrams
- metabolic and biochemical reaction networks
- signal transduction networks
- protein interaction networks
- handling of images
- histological cross-sections
- in situ hybridization
- electron microscopy and light microscopic
- phenotypic photographs
- handling of volumes
- NMR imaging, CT or MRT/MRI
- cross-section stacks
- microscopy stacks
- integration these different data types using a graph-based workspace
- combining biological data in different ways and
- manifold visualisations of combined data
